Deewanji Ni Haveli Bed & Breakfast is a gem in Ahmedabad's Old City. The beautifully restored 300-year-old haveli is a sister building to the French Haveli and offers a truly exceptional experience. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfasts are delicious and the decor is stunning, combining old charm with modern facilities. I felt extremely safe and would highly recommend staying here. Thank you to the City Heritage Centre of Ahmedabad for this wonderful initiative.
Nothing it is perfect! 😊

Amazing central courtyard view from my room made me feel like I was in a vibrant oasis in the midst of the city's chaos.

deewanji ni haveli was an amazing retreat in ahmedabad, even better than my last stay. the antique furniture, clean rooms, and modern bathroom amenities were impressive. the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and the courtyard dining experience was delightful. the location near traditional markets was a bonus.
Towels could be whiter.

Had a lovely stay in the historic part of the city at a beautifully renovated courtyard house. The location was perfect, walking distance to many cultural attractions and restaurants. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious with a range of options available. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished with modern amenities and beautifully decorated in traditional style.
Finding the property was a bit of a challenge as there was no clear signage outside. The steps in the staircase were steep and quite a climb, not suitable for those with knee issues.

Historic building with tasteful restoration, tiled floors, and wooden doors. No proper restaurant, but excellent breakfast provided. Beautiful property with helpful staff. Perfect location for famous food spots and heritage sights within walking distance. Amazing breakfast with delicious poha. Spacious room and helpful staff. Antique furniture and clean, well-ventilated rooms. Modern amenities in the amazing bathroom. Good food served in an open courtyard. Close to traditional clothes market and food market.

We arrived late in the evening without having eaten, but the staff at Deewanji Ni Haveli kindly made us a delicious dinner. The breakfast in the lovely patio was also very good. The haveli is a beautiful and special place, with humble and friendly staff who are passionate about their guesthouse and provided great insights into local living. Despite the noise from a dinner gathering, we appreciate the need to sustain the restoration of this historic building. Getting to the haveli can be a bit challenging, but the staff provided detailed instructions and their cellphone numbers for assistance. Once we figured out the location, it was easy to access the nearby markets and other attractions. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and authentic experience in a bustling city.

This hotel, located in the old city area, offers great value for money. The rooms are well-appointed with comfortable beds and good amenities. We had an amazing stay in this hotel. The staff provided us with personalised attention and was very sincere, polite and helpful. The hotel facilities were great with modern and clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. Furthermore, the location was very convenient as it was near the marketplaces and heritage walks starting points. The breakfast was fantastic too.
Nothing, all great.

The hotel location was inconvenient, surrounded by narrow paths and hard to reach by car. The small rooms offered few amenities, the cold draft in the bathroom made it hard to shower and the dim lighting made it difficult to read in bed at night. The breakfast was plain and unappetizing.
The hotel staff was quite friendly and accommodating.

The hotel had an incredible heritage architecture and a lovely inner courtyard. Staff were incredibly friendly and offered great transportation and trip planning assistance. The hotel's location was perfect, being near the heart of a bustling local market and other key attractions. The breakfast was delicious and the vast selection of fruits was amazing
The water pressure in the shower was a bit lacking, which made for an uncomfortable experience. The wifi was a bit spotty and didn't always connect properly, making it difficult to stay connected.
